What happens when a plan or trial ends
Your content stays. Free limits apply to new content, and some Team features become read-only.
A plan ends when a canceled subscription reaches the end of its period, when a free trial runs out, or 7 days after a renewal payment fails if it still hasn’t been paid (see My payment failed). You then move to the Free plan. When a Team plan or Team trial ends, everyone in the organization does.
We email you 3 days before a canceled plan or a trial ends.
Nothing is deleted
Section titled “Nothing is deleted”Every document, process map, training module, checklist and file you created stays where it is. You can still open and read it.
Free limits apply to new content
Section titled “Free limits apply to new content”On Free you can have up to 3 of each kind of content, such as documents, process maps and training modules, and 3 GB of storage. See Plans compared.
If you already have more than that, you keep all of it. You just can’t create more of that kind until you’re under the limit or you upgrade again.
Team features
Section titled “Team features”What you already made with Team features stays visible, read-only, so you can still refer to it. For example:
- training programs and the org map
- checklists and the history of their runs
- task boards
- Noticeboard announcements and events
Creating or changing anything in a Team feature needs Team again. For example, starting a checklist run or sending a document for approval shows an upgrade prompt instead.
Your organization and members
Section titled “Your organization and members”- Everyone stays in your organization, with the same roles and teams.
- Seats no longer apply. On Free and Pro, Admins can still invite and remove members, with no limit.
- Individual Pro subscriptions are separate. Anyone in your organization who pays for Pro keeps it.
Getting it back
Section titled “Getting it back”Upgrade again from Settings›Billing at any time, and everything unlocks straight away. Free trials can’t be repeated: each account gets one Pro trial, and each organization one Team trial.
